Game Insights
Essential Rules
- The game ends when a player reaches 100 points, and the player with the lowest score wins.
- Each heart card is worth 1 point, and the Queen of Spades is worth 13 points.
- The player with the highest card in the led suit wins the trick.
- Players must follow suit if possible.
- Hearts cannot be led until they have been “broken” (played on another suit).
- In the first trick, the 2 of Clubs must be led, and no hearts or Queen of Spades can be played.
- If a player takes all hearts and the Queen of Spades (known as “shooting the moon”), they score 0 and all other players score 26 points.
